SDL Solutions was founded in 2009 on twenty-five years of recruitment experience and a simple observation: the best technology hires almost never come from job adverts.
So we built the business around relationships instead — a network that now runs past twelve thousand technology professionals worldwide, from graduate engineers to FTSE-level CTOs. We work with growing SMEs and blue-chip organisations across software, cloud, data, cyber security, infrastructure and IT leadership, on permanent, contract and executive search briefs.
We're deliberately not a volume agency. Fewer clients, known deeply. Fewer candidates, represented properly. That's why most of our new business arrives as a referral, and why several clients haven't used another agency in years.

Discretion
Searches run in confidence, on both sides. Candidates trust us with careers; clients trust us with plans that aren't public yet. Neither gets compromised.
Honesty
If the brief is wrong, we say so. If the candidate should stay put, we tell them. Short-term uncomfortable, long-term the reason people stay with us.
The long view
A placement isn't the end of the job. We stay close after the start date — which is how we know our matches hold, and why the relationships last.
